I’m a multi-media artist inspired by connections with other people. I mainly use drawing, painting, printmaking and collage to observe or express a story. In my current works I consider the frailty of the human condition. Our bodies give us movement, communication, exaltation, sorrow. They sometimes break. They can’t always be repaired. I honour them for all they do. Life is too short to do otherwise.

Layers, pattern and strong colours are recurring themes. While always seeking a particular outcome, I am also process-oriented: enjoying experimentation, documentation, use of found materials and studio scraps. I like a little bit of unknown to reveal itself amidst a lot of tangible, repeated actions.

Having participated in several group exhibitions, my work is included in private collections in Australia and overseas.
